Making the Most Out of Your Research Funding: Raney “Nickel”

Abstract: When budgets tighten, chemists must become creative in how they use their funding. This has become particularly apparent in recent years, as rapid inflation has diminished the value of existing grants. We therefore propose that it is more cost effective to use money directly in reactions than to buy chemicals with it.
